Chaisson’s vision sought to honor the talented minority group of costumers and costume designers- individuals often overlooked despite their pivotal role in shaping the visual narratives we hold dear. In the face of industry-wide strikes that left us all out of work for an entire year, Chaisson remained steadfast in his commitment to creating a space for us to come together and showcase our artistry.
As both the photographer and a proud member of IATSE Local 705, The Motion Pictures Costumers Union, capturing the essence, skill, and passion of these remarkable individuals held a special significance.
