Green Plastic Sandals was the first film that I worked on after moving to New York. Again, I assisted the beautiful and talented Lindsey Hornyak as her costume supervisor.
GPS received some wonderful press earlier this month from the Huffington Post.
San Francisco-based art critic George Heymont included GPS as one of three short films highlighting the Asian American “struggle to overcome one’s doubts, fears, and family’s expectations” at SFIAAFF. It’s an honor to sit alongside Erin Li’s L.A. Coffin School and Andrew Ahn’s DOL: First Birthday.
