From Editorial Maternity Magic to a People Magazine Feature
I had the joy and honor of styling Maya Artest not once—but twice—during her beautiful pregnancy journey, and both moments couldn’t have been more special or unique in tone.
The first shoot, photographed by the talented Glen Dandridge Jr., was pure editorial magic. Every look we curated felt straight out of the pages of Vogue. Maya radiated strength and softness, embodying both high-fashion elegance and maternal grace. We leaned into rich textures, sculptural silhouettes, and a minimal yet elevated palette to let her presence shine. It was artful, powerful, and deeply expressive.
The second shoot was a completely different vibe—this time, I styled Maya for her baby shower, which was beautifully captured by Randi Roberts Photography and featured in People Magazine. The celebration was filled with love, joy, and soft hues of light blue and white. We chose a romantic, ethereal dress that celebrated the tenderness of the occasion while keeping Maya feeling confident and radiant in front of the camera.
Working with Maya during this exciting chapter of her life was such an honor. She’s not only stunning on the outside but carries herself with grace, authenticity, and intention—making styling her a true creative collaboration.
