While finding inspiration in my archives I ran across these photos of Kevin from the early days of The Gama Sennin. These images reflect the moodiness of the debut album from his California pysch-rock outfit.

Journey thru this dark odyssey curated by an assorted cast of misfits;     frontman –  Kevin McGuire, bass player – John Avila (Oingo Boingo/Mariachi el Bronx), drummer – Adam Maples (Earthlings?/Sea Hags), guitarist – Dimitri Coats (OFF!/Burning Brides/Ten Commandos), keyboardist – Chris Caswell (Daft Punk/The Muppets), and percussionist – Art Pacheco (Jamaica) with special guest, David Catching    (Rancho de la Luna/QOTSA).

 

 

 

This 10 song double  LP was co-produced by Peter Franco and mixed by Dan Lerner of the Grammy Award winning engineering team from Daft Punk’s 2013 release Random Access Memories. Mastered by Ian Shefcheck at Capitol Records, lacquers cut by Bob Weston at Chicago Mastering Services,and Pressed at Third Man Pressing.
